Samaritans Helping Hand is a ‘Community Resource Agency” that provides services to those who have fallen on hard times. Proudly partnered with other agencies such as St. Joseph Health / St. Mary’s Medical Center, Inland Empire United Way, the City of Victorville, Emergency Food & Shelter, the Hospitaller Foundation and other agencies, Samaritans is able to assist over 300 families and individuals every year by providing them with food, utility assistance, rental assistance, emergency housing and other vital and crucial necessities to those who have fallen on hard times. Utility, Rental and Housing assistance is provided on an appointment only basis and appointments are set during appointment call in hours only. Food baskets are given during certain business hours every day.
Second Time Around is our “Thrift Store” that offers clothing, furniture, household items, books, and all other previously used items and operates strictly on donations. With daily specials like “Buy 1 Get 2 Free”, our focus isn’t on making money but instead helping those who are in need.
Recognized by the County of San Bernardino as a “Volunteer Agency” we encourage you to be a part of this amazing program. If you would like to donate your time or if you have any items that you think would be a benefit to someone else and no longer need – please call (760) 241-0700 between 8:00am & 3:00 pm, Monday through Thursday.
